It just keeps getting better and better for Alaska pitcher Dylan Baker.
The rookie right-hander continues to improve during rookie ball for the Cleveland Indians.
Baker, of Juneau fame, extended his scoreless streak to 4.2 innings over two starts after Friday’s performance against San Diego.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder went 3 innings and faced 12 batters, allowing just two hits.
Baker, who was facing junior college hitters just a few months ago, has a 3.18 ERA in three pro starts.
He has struck out 6 of 26 batters faced.
